Technology Planning

When we provide technology planning services to organizations, our goal is to develop a lasting partnership such that we are able to help the organization over time, as the needs and technologies evolve.

Strategic Planning

We work with organizations to help develop strategic technology plans that support their organization and communications goals.

This includes an over-arching look at all the technologies in use in the organization and typically culminates in big-picture technology, budget, and staffing recommendations over a 3-year timeframe.

In developing a strategic technology plan, we typically start with an assessment that includes a review of the organization's hardware and software, a staff skill assessment filled out by each staff member, and a review of the organization's online presence.

Tactical Planning

We also work with organizations to evaluate and recommend specific solutions. For instance, we often help organizations find and migrate to new database solutions (typically with 3rd party providers).

This work generally involves working with one or more staff to identify specific requirements and then looking at available options, including third-party “off the shelf” products and the possibility of custom development.

We frequently help clients develop RFP’s when custom solutions are indicated, and are happy in these situations to not put in a bid to avoid any potential conflict of interest.
